Statement:
Gaston Bachelards book ‘The Poetics of Space” has been a catalyst for my work for many years.
A sense of place is important to me, and my response is ultimately born out of integrity of that place. I subscribe to the honesty of seeing and the integrity of the image. Ultimately, I use the vehicle of landscape and my locality to express a perspective of the world I inhabit .
